Connect Infrastructure entered the contestable electricity market in 1998. We understand that nothing is more important to you than choosing a firm that can confidently handle all the aspects of your connection to the electricity network.


We do everything from the nitty gritty of the application and approval processes to the complex connection. And we do it in-house, giving you peace of mind that our talented people are working together and with you to conscientiously fulfil all of your electricity network requirements.

Connect Infrastructure is a market leader in the contestable NSW power transmission and distribution sector.  


Our operations are solely focused on the power sector ensuring an unparallelled understanding and working knowledge of the systems and standards of the electricity distributors. 


Connect Infrastructure operates across NSW with strategically located offices in Sydney and Newcastle.


Connect Infrastructure is:


  • Accredited to construct  utility assets (Level 1 ASP) – Grade A
  • Accredited to design utility networks (Level 3 ASP)
  • Authorised to deliver contestable work on NSW power generation and distribution systems up to 132 kV
  • Certified to AS/NZS 4801 (Safety)
  • Certified to ISO 9001 (Quality)
  • Certified to ISO 14001 (Environment)

Community Engagement


Founded in South West Sydney, Connect Infrastructure has been engaged with the local community since its inception. Connect staff annually participate in charity fundraising events -  “Shave for a Cure”; “Movember”; and the Children’s Hospital.  In the past Connect has also been a sponsor of the West Sydney Razorbacks basketball team.
